Red Flags Are Only Dangerous If You Ignore Them

Let’s play a game: If you have to keep justifying someone’s behavior to your friends, it’s a red flag. 😬
And no, it’s not “mean” or “cold” to cut ties. It’s called emotional safety.
Toxic relationships come in all shapes — romantic, family, friendships, coworkers. They usually have one thing in common: You feel worse after spending time with them.
🔴 Red Flags to Watch For:
You feel drained, anxious, or small around them
They always “joke” about your insecurities
They apologize… but nothing ever actually changes
You keep making excuses for why you stay
Listen — you don’t have to wait for it to get worse to give yourself permission to leave.
🎯 3 Ways to Start Letting Go:
Set a clear boundary — even if it’s just emotional distance.
Get honest: Are you staying out of love… or habit?
Remind yourself: “Choosing peace over chaos is not selfish.”
Life’s too short to spend it untangling someone else’s mess while you abandon your own healing.
